  Selected Students2017 Debaters Association of Victoria British Parliamentary Debating competition. This interschool competition is designed for students in years 7, 8 and 9 who want to develop and extend their debating skills. This is a single-day event that begins with a DAV-run training session, after which students will participate in three secret topic debates. DATE: Sunday 22nd OctoberTIME: 9.00am - 4.30pmLOCATION: Caulfield Grammar School, Glen Eira Rd, St Kilda EastParents will need to arrange transport to their child to and from the host school. Students should arrive for a prompt 9.00am start.Students will be dismissed at the conclusion of the competition at 4.30pm. Parents will need to arrage transport for their students to return from the host school following the conclusion of the competition. A Huntingtower staff member will be present on the day, as will staff from Caulfied Grammar School and the Debaters Association of Victoria. Students must report to a Huntingtower staff member upon arrival. School uniform should be worn. Students should bring pens, paper/cue cards, a drink bottle and a snack. Lunch will be provided, but students are strongly encouraged to bring some extra food, and their own lunch if they have any dietary requirements. Students are not to bring their iPads, laptops or other devices to the competition.M McDonald
