Year 10 (10.4 Only) Pilot Study for NAPSL
12:00 PM » 3:15 PM
National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 students is held in May each year. The National Assessment Program is being expanded to include Scientific Literacy through NAPSL (National Assessment Program – Scientific Literacy). The NAPSL program is based on a new assessment framework that is aligned with the Australian Curriculum.Huntingtower School has been chosen to participate in the Pilot Study for NAPSL at Year 10. The NAPSL Pilot Study is a set of computer-based tests that will be delivered using the online national assessment platform. Participation in the Pilot Study provides Huntingtower School with an opportunity to provide feedback on the online system and associated processes, as well as confirming our own school readiness for participation in future NAPSL. Please note that the data collected from the trial will be used only for the purposes of research and evaluating the NAPSL Online system. No information identifying students or schools will be made publicly available. The trial will be conducted on Wednesday 25 October from 12 noon until 3:15pm and will involve two tests with a break for lunch in between and then a group feedback session. Students in 10.4 have been selected to participate in the Pilot. We would like to thank you and your child for their participation in this trial, which is a key step to ensuring a successful NAPSL online experience for future years.
