Duke of Ed - Bronze

  As a part of the Duke of Edinburgh program, students are required to attend a two day journey. There is a small cost associated with this expedition, but it will offer students the opportunity to complete the adventurous journey section for their Bronze Award.Excursion to: WalhallaActivity: Bushwalking, mine tour, railway journeyDate:14-15 October, 2017Accommodation:Tents (staying at North Gardens campground)Departure Time:Arrive at Huntingtower 7.00am for a 7.15am departureReturn Time:Approximately 5.00pm Sunday at Huntingtower.Clothing: Please use clothing/equipment list as a guide. Equipment:Tents and stoves are provided free of charge. Sleeping bags, sleeping mats and Japaras can be hired at a rate of $5 per item.Students can bring money if they wish to purchase anything from the local shops or if they would like to buy lunch in Yarragon (Sunday).Meal Arrangements: Students are to organise their own meals/food for the trip - 1x Dinner, 2x Lunches (one can be purchased from Yarragon if they wish), 1x Breakfast (see equipment list for recommendations)Nic Green
